Thumbs up to Rafael Hernandez after bringing the Roger Attfield-trained Wam Bam across first in the fifth race of the day at Woodbine on Sunday.

Luis Contreras was one of only two jockey to grab two wins today, bringing the Sam-Son Farm product Butterfly Dance across first on the turf in Race 4, below.

Bonjour Skye Chernetz!

It was a sad and sombre Saturday at Woodbine last week, but the racing continued after a cancelled card the day before.

The usually smiling Skye Chernetz headed out from the paddock for race 5 with a more pensive posture, below…

…but the famous smile returned as she crosses the finish line ahead of fellow jockeys Eurico Rosa da Silva and Jesse Campbell to bring in Bonjour for the win, below.

Luis Contreras scored a fairly easy win for the Tino Attard-trained and -owned Rince Tapaigh on the turf during the one mile fourth race, below.

And Patrick Husbands brought a little bit of Sanity to the winner’s circle, below, as he outpaced two contenders at the line from the outside for trainer Mark Casse.
