Taking the stage for downtown Brampton’s Garden Square Live musical Friday night was local talent The Khan Artists.
The musical duo of Anthony Reynolds, above left, and Tam Duong played their musical creations for the first time on the outdoor stage. Both are talented musicians who began busking only recently during the Brampton Farmers Market.
Tam finished off the set with a few acoustic songs to a very appreciative crowd.
The Rotary Club of Brampton’s annual Rib ‘n’ Roll event is taking over downtown’s Gage Park this weekend with ribs being the main headliner.
Also on the musical menu for the weekend is rock trio Freedom Train, with Montreal-born singer and bassist Carl Jennings, below, leading the way with some Led Zeppelin covers, among others.
There was a ‘whole lotta love’ from some members of the audience, too.
The country side took over after that with Toronto-born singer/songwriter Elyse Saunders, below.
Hats off to everyone who makes this great weekend of food and music possible.
