Scare In The Square

The Toronto Blue Jays are down two games to none in the American League Championship Series thanks to Cleveland’s 2-1 win today.

And Josh Donaldson, post-game in the Blue Jays’ dressing room, summed it up to the press scrum around him: “We have to do a better job at swinging the bat and scoring some runs.”

I’m sure this fan, watching the game on the Garden Square big screen TV in Brampton, would agree that Jose Bautista is just one of the guys who has to step it up in the batter’s box in the next couple of games.

The series now switches to Toronto with Game 3’s first pitch scheduled at 8:08 p.m. on Monday.
