When Rev. Richard Choe took over as minister at St. Paul’s United Church in Brampton one year ago, his first month was a busy one.
With eight weddings and three funerals in his first 30 days, the doors of the church were open quite regularly.
And on Saturday, the doors were open once again for the annual Doors Open Brampton event, a chance to visit and explore local heritage sites as part of the provincial Doors Open Ontario program.
Built 130 years ago from Credit Valley brown stone, St. Paul’s United Church figures prominently in the life of the downtown Brampton community, just a block away from the famous ‘Four Corners’ centre of the city.
