“Home” Opener

It wasn’t quite like playing a real home game, but the Hamilton Tiger-Cats managed to please their football fans gathered at McMaster University’s Ron Joyce Stadium with a win last night against the visiting Ottawa RedBlacks.

With Tim Hortons Field construction going overtime, Hamilton’s first game in the city limits in over 600 days was played in front of about 6,000 for a 33-23 win.
