Flower Power

Brampton’s annual Flower City Parade kicked off the city’s season of celebrations on Saturday.

And nothing says flower parade more than a guy with a flower pot for a head.

The Fung Loy Kok Taoist Tai Chi organization, shown below with a lengthy dragon, paraded down Main Street to celebrate their 30th Anniversary.

And my son Dee and daughter Xingyu followed closely behind with the smaller dragon.

Father Roman Galadza, below, chats before the start of the parade. Pastor Galadza’s Ukrainian Roman Catholic church St. Elias tragically burned down in early April this year, but the congregation vows to rebuild within the next two years.
