Hurricane All-Stars

The Ontario Football Conference has recently released their list of 2013 All-Stars.

And it’s no surprise a number of Hamilton Hurricanes have been included.

Topping the list is Hurricane receiver Matt Coates, below, who was awarded Offensive Player of the Year.

Coates, a 22-year-old senior from Markham, averaged 17.2 yards per reception in his seven games on the field and made it to the endzone 13 times.

Dalton Laughlin took Offensive lineman honours and kicker Bobby Frame, below, was awarded the Alex Stajic Memorial Special Teams Player of the Year Award.

Hamilton coach Jason Hayes was awarded Coach of the Year for helping to guide his squad to a seven win season and a home field advantage in the playoffs.

Also making the All-Star list were defensive back Jacob Barry…

…and quarterback Kyle Sewell, below, who topped the passing efficiency rating among QBs with a 97.1 rating.
