This was the weekend for those who like to live in the past to come out to downtown Brampton, Ontario.
And based on the turnout for the 14th Classic Cars and Legendary Stars, there are plenty of people who like to reminisce.
But this year, for safety reasons, the annual classic car parade through town did not include any tire-smoking burnouts by the high horse-powered muscle cars, and anyone who tried to show off more than just their old time make and models had to hand over their licence to a waiting Peel Regional for a stern warning.
Below, Jeff Sommerville & The Jazz Mechanics started off the legendary stars musical portion of the day on Saturday.
And on the big stage Aerosmith tribute band Mama Kin rocked the crowd, young and old, in Gage Park.
Frank Grosso fronts the rock quintet as Steven Tyler sound-a-like. And fellow Torontonian Tony Verna, below with Grosso riding piggyback, takes on the role of lead guitarist Joe Perry.
Even Elvis was in the building…
